Invitation for Celebrating Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation & National Children’s day- 2022
“Equal right of the Children – Commitment of Bangabandhu’s Birthday”

On the occasion of National Children’s Day 2022, Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Manchester will organise Children’s activities (age group 7-14). Children from Greater Manchester, North East England, North west England, North Wales, Isle of Man, and Scotland are cordially invited and encouraged to participate.
Parents are requested to register their children’s name as per attached registration form and send the same to mission.manchester@mofa.gov.bd by 10th March 2022.

The programme will take place on 19th March 2022 (Saturday) from 11:30 to 13:30 hrs. at the Premises of Chancery (Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Edge Lane, Droylsden, Manchester, M43 6BB).

I) Quiz Competition (Age Group: 07-14 Years)

On the following topics, the materials for reading and reference for the quiz competition will be provided with for pre-reading. Specific content of paragraph will be given at the programme followed by multiple choice questionnaire. The selection panel will make decision after examining the answer sheet and the winner will be selected.

Details of the age group and topics are as follows:
Group A (07-10 Years)
1. Paper-I (Short sketch of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman)
2. Paper-II (Historic 7th March Speech)
3. Paper-III (Declaration of Independence)

Group B (11-14 Years)
1. Paper-I (Short sketch of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman)
2. Paper-II (Historic 7th March Speech)
3. Paper-IV (Bangabandhu’s London Visit January 08, 1972)

II) Portrait Sketch (Age Group: 03-14 years)
-There will be arrangement for sketch drawing at the premises; this is a free activity.

02. All participants will be appreciated with certificates and awards by the Mission. The winner for the multiple-choice answer will be assessed by the expert panel of judges of the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Manchester based on the criteria of the accuracy of right answer. Please note that all materials for the programme will be supplied by Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Manchester during the day of the competition. Children will not be required to bring any materials for the competition. Prior registration for competition is a necessary prerequisite.
