**** Applicant/s is/are requested to bring 2 (two) sets of full document ( identical) when coming to the assistant high commission.
Requirements of the submission for attestation of Power of Attorney Application:
a)Valid Bangladeshi Passport with Passport Photocopy ( all of the information pages) or Valid UK Passport with No Visa required sticker along with photocopy of those pages (The passport has to be minimum 6 Months validity from the date of doing Power of Attorney).
b) 3 (three) identical recent Passport size photograph of each executant.
c) Copy of Land deed/ Porcha/ CS-RS Paper/ Tax payment Receipt (for Land/ Property related PoA).
a) Photocopy of Bangladeshi Voter or National ID card or Valid Bangladeshi or UK Passport photocopy ( all of the information pages). (The passport has to be minimum 6 Months validity from the date of doing Power of Attorney)
b) 3 (three) identical recent Passport size photograph.
III. A witness with his/her Photo Id card ( Valid Passport or Driving licence along with photocopy)

V.** Power of Attorney document. ** While preparing the Power of Attorney document please concern that all of the information/s of the executant/s and recipient/s which are written in the document are need to be according to the submitted document/s (The spelling of name and other information have to be same).
Power of attorney service can be availed of by either of the following methods
a. Signing the power of attorney documents in front of the Consular Officer of Bangladesh Assistant High Commission;
b. Signing the power of attorney documents in front of a solicitor/Barrister/Notary Public/Commissioner for Oath, and letter, duly attested by Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) NB: In case of obtaining the power of attorney regarding land property in Bangladesh, the document signed by the Assistant High Commission must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka before submission to the concerned Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office.
Requirements for signing the document before the Assistant High Commission’s Consular Officer:
a. Executant/s physical presence at the High Commission is necessary; b. Before coming to the high Commission, the document must remain unsigned;
Requirements for signing the documents in front of solicitor and etc.:
a. Three (03) passport sized photographs of each executant must be endorsed with the document by the solicitor/ Notary Public/ Commissioner for Oath;
b. After signing in front of solicitor, the document has to be taken to Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) legalization section for authentication of the solicitor.
c. After authentication by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) the documents are to be brought to the Assistant High Commission for signature by the Assistant High Commission official; with all required papers and documents such as copy of executants’ valid British passport with No Visa Required or Bangladeshi Passport, three passport sized photographs of the executors and three passport size photographs of the acceptor / attorney [ Attached next to their information], copy of valid Bangladeshi passport or copy of valid National ID Card or Copy of Bangladesh Voter ID Card. If the Acceptor / Attorney lives in the UK, then has to provide copy of valid Bangladesh Passport or copy of valid British Passport with No Visa Required and three (03) copies of recent passport size photographs.
*** All passports have to be minimum 6 Months validity from the date of doing Power of Attorney.
