If you already have 17 Digit birth certificate by yourself then for verification check please visit Bangladesh Birth Certificate Portal ( if already obtained Birth Identification number). Note that: Not verified number cannot be used to make MRP passport.

Requirements for Birth Certificate application:
a. Complete Birth Registration and after submission do the printout.
b. 1 ( One) copy of recent passport size photograph.
c. Photocopies of Bangladeshi passport where all of information are given.
d. In case of UK born child:
i. The photocopy of detailed Birth Certificate
ii. Photocopy of any of Bangladeshi born parents’ passport pages ( All information pages).
iii.Applicant’s UK or any other country’s passport photocopy (if any).
Note that: Cheque/ credit card payment / cash will not be accepted as the Processing Fees.
Fees (Non-refundable): £ 4.00/= (Four pounds)
Birth Certificate correction fee/s: £23.00/= (Twenty three) Only Applicable for those Birth Certificate which were prepared by Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Manchester.
Processing Time: Arpx. 7 (Seven) working days.
1) Debit card ( In person Submission).
2) Postal Order Payable to “ Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Manchester”.
3) Bank Draft.
Consular Timing for the Applicant:
Service receiving / Applicant’s collection Time: Monday to Friday 15:30pm – 16:30pm (Except Public Holiday /s and bank Holiday).
Application Submission time:
1) In person:
Monday to Thursday: 10:00am -12:30pm
Friday: 10:00am – 12:00 pm
2) By Post: Please send postal order for fees along with your application.
